4Tha Ville Recap (video and pics)
This weekend Spread The Positive was involved with a Community Block Party called “4Tha Ville”. It was hosted by City Gear, Legacy Ink and Slept on Music Group. The purpose of the event was to bring the community together to create a family fun environment that promoted local business, giving back, and unity. We had a great time representing Spread The Positive as well as Endure Athletics. A cause that is near and dear to our hearts here at Spread The Positive, Endure Athletics has a mission to “enrich the lives of the homeless/at-risk youth of Rutherford County”. Unfortunately, we were unable to raise a notable amount of monetary value for Endure but we were able to make some really beneficial connections for future endeavors. Huge shout out to Joel and Jeannie with Endure for letting us represent Endure! Definitely, all the way behind everything Endure (www.endureathletics.org) is doing.
As for the event. It was awesome! Live music, good food, good people and ultimately a good time! We had several folks come through and help with speaking on both what we are doing and everything Endure has going on. Another big shout out to William Moore, Mallory Anderson, OJ Beane/Jo Jo, Brent Bettie, Shelley Tasman, Shane Morris, Dawson Huff and Traci Lawson for all being there. I also have to give Scott Kimberly a special thank you for being the first official merchandise purchase at an event in TN. He brought his two kids out as well. They had a ball in the “bouncy house”. It was a really great experience. Looking to build from this and change a few things up but overall a really awesome event. Big thank you to Troy with Legacy Ink for getting us plugged in. Looking forward to many more.
